At Mynd House we are committed to providing facilities for Cyclists whether cycling for leisure or Mountain Biking. As a result we have qualified for the Cyclists Welcome scheme, a national scheme which indicates our level of commitment to Cyclists and provision of suitable facilities.

We have a wide range of maps, guides and routes easily accessible from Mynd House. We are also very close to Minton Batch which is one of the best and longest downhill mountain bike routes in the UK.

A range of Cycling routes can be accessed on the Shropshire Cycling website.

We have a large secure storage area which can accommodate up to 12 bikes and a place to hang and dry out wet clothes or cycling gear. There is also an outside tap and hose for washing down muddy bikes.

Cycle hire is available locally from Spokes Cycle Hire, although based in Shrewsbury bikes can be delivered free of charge if hiring for several days or for group hire. We are also happy to arrange luggage transfer for any guests staying at Mynd House as part of their touring holiday - costs will be subject to distance between Mynd House and your next stop over but is usually in the region of £12.
