At Mynd House we are committed to providing facilities for walkers and walking groups. As a result we have qualified for the Walkers Welcome scheme, a national scheme which indicates our level of commitment to Walkers and provision of suitable facilities.

We have an extensive collection of maps, guide books and routes. Other walking routes can be accessed on the Shropshire Walking website. If the weather is a little unkind to you we have a drying area to hang wet coats and store muddy boats. We can provide packed lunches, wrapped in handy insulated lunch bags, and we are happy to provide a flask top-up service for hot or cold drinks.

There are numerous walks which can be accessed from our door step, the best being Ashes Hollow, one of the secrets of the Longmynd, the trail follows the stream up to the top of the Longmynd range where stunning views await.
